Summer Night
Soft gentle breezes
Stars on the ground
Fireflies in Mason jars
Matching twinkles in the sky
Easy living
A simpler time
Drowsing in Mom’s lap
After eating fresh churned
Peach Ice Cream

That sounds yummy too. Summer was the time of fresh peaches in Texas and my Mother dearly loved fresh peach ice cream. We made it often since a relative owned a huge peach orchard where we picked when each new variety ripened through the summer. Peaches from May until September back then … so good!
I am glad to have shared my memories and they were good ones for you as well.

Rice pudding is cooked in milk n contains dry fruits. Cardamom is mixed for flavor and is eaten when chilled ( A common desert in India). I believe every one has childhood memories which are common across the universe… Thanks for sharing your memories !!
