Not Good Enough

Our time together lasted

much longer that it should

have … each of us knowing

it was time to move on

Instead of having a mature

conversation and then doing

just that…

You, began to treat me as though

I didn’t exist…

Never meant anything to you…

Blamed me for things that I didn’t

say…didn’t do

Treated me worse that anyone

had ever in my life treated me

Your ego was the issue all along

When…

I just wanted to love you

But…

Found it was impossible

When…

I could never be the person

you expected me to be
