My personal history

has been written by

everyone but me

And…

It is nothing

like Me

 

Being a child

of the 60s and 70s,

I did what was

expected of me.

Never…never wanting to

cause anyone to be hurt

or disappointed by

me or my actions.

 

As a result, I lost

so much of ME…

Who I really was…

Am…

Was never really

myself…thinking

of others for years

 

Finally, at this stage

of my life, I do what I want…

what pleases ME first…

Not caring what others

say or think

 

This is my life…

My time…

And…

I will NEVER

be manipulated…

chastised…

ridiculed…

OR

held back…

Again for

Being ME
