The Usual
It was the typical Thursday night Her night… Her time just for herself… Time to work out the kinks and get ready for the Weekend He saw her the minute she walked in his bar Turning he started pulling things together One final shake and the pour as she sat down in front of him He placed the drink on a coaster and gave her the shaker Smiling as she shrugged out of her coat… “Awww…Bob you are the absolute best.” As she took that first cold sip … a deep draw … he gave her his best lopsided little boy grin. “It’s Thursday. Just what you want… the Usual.” he said as he turned to hide a knowing smile. Copyright © 2013 Annie – Original PoetryAlways…I wish you peace, joy and happiness, but most of all I wish you Love.

Annie, you were able to use perfect imagery to the point I felt like I was there with you. And he can certainly mix a good one! Love and peace.

Strange how those who are special and love the most are taken so quickly… I know he will be remembered. I envision his touch on lives like a ripple effect on still water. Though he has gone, his touch, guidance, teaching, love, continues to ripple throughout those lives. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing his legacy with me. My heart is truly touched.
