You surprise me

at Noon

Coming home for and

unexpected lunch

 

A quick sandwich and

washing up

So nice to have lunch

together during the week

 

“Would you like

to take a piece of cake

for an afternoon snack?”

I asked lifting the cover

of the cake stand.

 

“No,” he said.

 

“You are my afternoon

snack,” he added with

a wicked smile.

 

“I took the afternoon

off to give you some

much deserved love

in the afternoon,”

he explained.

 

“Unless…,” he continued.

 

Stopping him in mid

sentence with a lingering

kiss…

I lead him to our

Sanctuary

and…
