Again…

My illusion of 

safety and security

has been shattered

 

My world turned

upside down

My heart…

My soul…

In flames

 

From kindness

and caring

To…

Unbelievable

cruelty in

a heartbeat

 

Sitting at the

table of bitterness

There is that oh

so familiar taste

of goodbye 

placed upon

my Tongue
