Misguided Ego

It never ceases to amaze me

how people with insecurities

must attempt to tear everyone

around them apart to build

themselves up

 

This is a mistaken belief

system

putting people down will

never elevate them

in the eyes of others 

Such  a sad and laughable

misconception.

 

Ignoring them is the key…

not being the center of

attention is what always

will deflate them

 

Yet…

 

They can never see…

never realize…

their misguided ego…
