Dotted Swiss

Hot summer day

Long soaking cooling bath

Climbing to the attic

hoping to catch a breeze

to dry her hair

 

Sunlight shimmering

through dust motes as

she stands looking over 

the field below

 

He followed as she

knew he would

Tempting him with

her favorite yellow

dotted swiss dress

 

Her damp body

outlined by the thin cotton

Barefoot…

Damp hair…

 

She knew …

Her life was about to 

Change…
