The wheel turns again

Thank goodness

The past year was one

of the most difficult

of my life

Not one thing in

particular…

But …

Many things in

general

Adding up

Bedeviling me

Causing pain…

heartache…

loss…

The coming year

has to be better

because it

cannot be any worse …

Early…

Just after dawn

A soft summer morning

 

Crickets quietly chirping

their good morning

Birds singing their

response…

 

Others…

Practicing their early

morning aerial ballet

 

The sun painting

the sky with

blush and lipstick

 

A new day

Begins…
