My Life …

My life will never be

some wonderful love story

will never be a saga for the ages

will never be even one book

But …

I get to live all those things

when I read

I get to feel things I

could never feel in any

other way

I get to travel and have

experiences that will

never be reality

I get to escape when needed

I get to dream

I get to be anyone I want

each and every time

I open a new book …

Never Give Up …

 

Sometimes our dreams must

be placed on hold for just

the right time in life

 

Dreams are what make you

who you are…

Who you are destined to be

 

Work toward those dreams

Keep them safe and sacred

Not everyone needs to know

what you want to do until

you know that time in

life when they will be realized

 

Sacrifices may need to

happen to get to your dreams

But …

Never Ever Give Up…

Dreams …

 

Legend says —

When we cannot

sleep it is

because we are

living inside

another’s dream

 

We are connected

more than we know…

Electricity of the

mind reaching out

and activating that

of another

 

Dreams upon awakening

so vivid…

so real…

we have stop ourselves

from talking to the ones

in them about what

happened

 

Perhaps…

If we opened up

Did not hold back

We could find that

magic dream connection

between ourselves

and others

Decisions

Made some decisions

today after thinking

all night long

 

Sometime it just

isn’t worth it to

deal with people

who are unable

to share a vision…

dream a dream…

And…

make things happen

 

So…

for me …

I will go my own way

do my own thing

follow my own dreams

And…

restructure the foundation

for MY future

And leave those others

to flounder in the dark

 

I have set new goals

to put me on the way

to a much brighter

FUTURE…

Beach Day…

Smiling…

She knotted her tote bag

and casually draped it

over her shoulder

 

What a beautiful morning!

Finally a clear blue sky

Infectious with the sun

she turned her face to

soak up warmth

and sunbeams

 

Once outside…

A quick walk to

her favorite beach

white sand…

blue water…

breaking waves…

And…

peace…

 

Waking from an

unplanned nap…

The dream lingers

like his brandy

kisses on her lips

 

Smiling…

she runs into

the crashing waves…

I Wait…

Yet again

for the call that

never comes

 

And…

I wait

because that

is expected

of me

 

And…

I wait

knowing what

I hope for

will never

happen

 

And…

I wait

Because there

is nothing

else I can do

Gone Again…

It happened again

last night…

I dreamed you were

still here…

still alive…

 

You gently and 

sweetly cradled me 

in your arms

Reassured me things

would be fine

 

For a brief moment

I was happy

Until…

This morning when

the dreams and

you were both

Gone…

Confused…

Stumbling through my

days like walking in a

Lucid Dream

 

Life seems unreal

Unfocused as though

I am moving underwater

Slow…

Dazed…

Confused…

 

Sleep constantly

calls me

My escape…

The only release

My only salvation

 

What does it all mean?

 

Where is this leading me?

Joint at times

Always there…

our inner most
