GOODBYE

Goodbye

“Goodbye,” she said

It has been – interesting

But …

The time has come

Leaving is difficult

Death is permanent

I  must go …

To find myself …

Staying will only lead to

Death …

Maybe mine …

Perhaps yours…

Death is not

My style

Not my future

The choice made

“Goodbye,” she said

Leaving to Live …

LEAVING… April PAD 4

Leaving…

Turning away

I never looked back

It was time…

Way past time

To go

Life had not

Been good for

A very long time

Enough…

Time to reclaim

My lost soul

The only way

To find me again

To reclaim my Soul

Was to walk away

Never look back

Never remember

Just…

LEAVE

Summers End…

Summers End…

End of the summer
Autumn brushstrokes
begin to appear

Languishing greens in
a variety of hues

A splash of red
here and there

Golden tinged
Yellows

Each showing
as nights begin to cool
and mornings blush

Where have
You
Gone?

Leaving

Leaving

She left…
Finally…
Nothing there
any more but
a heart that
sounds like
cracking glass
on the verge of
shattering at
any moment

Why does loyalty
get her nowhere
devotion…
blinded by words
eyes opened by
actions

Quietly closing
the door…
She left behind
that chapter
of her life…

Taste Of Goodbye

Taste Of Goodbye

Again…
My illusion of
safety and security
has been shattered

My world turned
upside down
My heart…
My soul…
In flames

From kindness
and caring
To…
Unbelievable
cruelty in
a heartbeat

Sitting at the
table of bitterness
There is that oh
so familiar taste
of goodbye
placed upon
my Tongue
