Traveling…

She was a small town girl

With no chance to see the world

But…

She had deep aspirations

And…

Long held wishes

Her second home was a

library just around the corner

Long hot summer afternoons

spent sitting on the cool

hardwood floor

Reading…

Traveling…

Going places of her dreams

Books were her world

And…

The library her safe haven

She could solve a mystery…

Visit a foreign world…

Travel through the stars

into deep space…

All at her fingertips

Encouraged by not only her

family but the librarian

To Read…read…read…

And…

Find herself …

Become anyone she wanted …

Travel the world …

And…

Discover new ones …
