Our Lives

Source: We Heart It

During the course

of living each of us

experience

love…

loss…

And …

love again

 

There is nothing so

fulfilling as

to know…

to share…

to hold…

the heartbeat

of someone’s

Soul

 

When that is lost…

the emptiness…

the longing…

the desire…

to fill what

once was there

when we loved

and were loved

in return

 

The reality of 

knowing at that

point we are both

broken and whole

at the same time

 

Broken in our 

loss and pain…

Whole for having

loved and 

been loved

With hope to

love and

be loved again

End of the Day

With a relaxed sigh

my favorite chair

before the fire

and a glass of wine

I begin to unwind

 

A long day…

But …

A good one

A day that

leaves me

happy…

smiling…

and

remembering…

 

I have friends

who love me…

care for me…

and do special

things for me…

 

I am blessed…

And…

Give thanks to 

the ones who

make it possible

 

A perfect ending

to a wonderful day

having loving friends

and being loved

in return
