Sinful

Our love is
Forbidden

Yet…

Justifiable to us
Hurting no one
in the process

Only for us
Giving and
Receiving pleasure

Taking from no one
And…
Meeting our individual
wants…
needs…
desires

Sharing…
a give and
take that
completes us
makes us one
whole…
sated…

Is it a sin…
Love is never
a Sin
To not Love
That is the
real Sin

Fault Line

Supplication…
is not always
a prayer

It is a giving
a total …
complete
release of
Emotions

A giving of yourself
to the only one who
understands what
lies deep within your
Soul

Their Language

Their Language

They come together
When time permits
No words needed
their bodies know the
ancient language…
rhythms…
wants…
needs…
desires…

Without a word
their time begins
Familiar touches…
Gentle sighs…
Bodies shift…
Adjust to each other
A perfect fit…
A perfect joining…

Gentle become
more demanding
breathing quickens
passion rises

Release over and over and
over again
Each is what the
other needs
Taking what
can be given…
received…

Meeting when planets
align and stars fall
Satisfaction…
Until…

Night Out

A nice night out
Dinner at our
favorite place

Witty banter with
the waitress
Always giving us a
side of seduction
and lust
(order the guacamole…
it makes you horny)
she says every time

A phone rings
The call is taken
No questions asked

We take dinner
To Go

Afternoon…Remembered

Sunlight filters softly
through the blinds
Shadows dance across
grey walls

So much like that
stolen afternoon…
My mind goes
back in time…
My body remembers
every touch…
kiss..
movement…
Every sensuous word
And
the very essence of you

Love is for the young
Memories of love for
the young at heart and spirit
Sent to chase away the old

Darkness!

Darkness!

Waiting in the shadows
I love the Darkness!

My eyes adjust
Night eyes that see
You as you blend
into the deep grey
Corners

Still hidden, I
keep watching
As you look through the
shadows to find me

Looking back,
you are gone
Suddenly…
without a sound
You…
embrace me from
Behind

Your strong hands
pin me to the
tree …
my hiding place

Gently…
you turn me
into your body

We fit together
as though knitted
from the same wool.

A deep kiss…
The game Sealed
Darkness Wins!

Unchained Melody

You played it for me
when we made sweet
love in the afternoon
Intention without saying

Unchained Melody
will always make
me think of you
with delicious memories

That was long ago…
Yet…
Hearing that song
take me back…
When times were
sweeter…
gentler…
And
Love meant something
to us both

Just Passing Through

Just Passing Through —

was written a few days ago before I read the following poem written by the incredibly poet and singer/song writer Leonard Cohen.  I found the following poem only this morning when I picked up Leonard Cohen’s Poems and Songs and felt the connection of his poem to mine.  They are not remotely alike, yet have a similar feel.  ‘As the Mist Leaves No Scar’ was a new poem to me and I was surprised at the collective thought in this poem and mine.   I hope you enjoy both since this is an unusual posting style for me.

As The Mist Leaves No Scar

By Leonard Cohen

As the mist leaves no scar
On the dark green hill,
So my body leaves o scar
On you, nor ever will.

When wind and hawk’s encounter,
What remains to keep?
So you and I encounter,
The turn, then fall to sleep.

As many nights endure
Without a moon or star,
So will we endure
When one is gone and far

Just Passing Through

You came to me
Unexpectedly…
A Surprise…
Yes, but…
Not really
This is just
your style

Your voice filled with
lust…
desire…
expectation…
anticipation…

And…
A question on your tongue…
Leaving the decision
once again…
to me.

A friend with
Benefits whose
company I do
Enjoy…
Neither of us
owing anything to
the other
except…
mutual pleasure
And
respect

One night of
passion…
pleasure…
and pain…
You are gone…
Until the next
time you are
Just Passing Through

I Put a Spell on You

You are under my skin

And

I can’t get you

out of my head

Yet…you come and go

on a whim

Are you bored?

Or

You simply decide

to grace me with your

Presence

Whatever the reason…

I am under your spell…

Cannot shake you from my soul

Even when I know

You really don’t care

Candles on the Windowsill

Candles on the Windowsill

Night falls

And…

You are here

A Special time…

For us

You light candles

for the windowsill

Putting the room in

soft flickering light

A Special time…

Watching shadows on the wall

Shadows on our skin

As we share the

Language of love…

Ancient rhythms…

Spoken in shadow…

Exchanged in touch…

Slow stories in deep

Kisses as passion

Builds…

Spills…

Into the scented room

Candle light casting

a golden glow on

your bare skin

Enticing me to

Taste…

Touch…

Savor…

like a fine Champagne

as we burst forth

in the finale of an

Unheard Symphony

One only we can hear…

Feel…

Touch…

Taste…

Our bodies entwined

as the music speaks

to us alone…

through us…

becoming us…

in the flickering

golden shadows
