Moon Lace

Looking through backyard

trees the full Moon

creates patterns everywhere

I notice a lacy leaf on the walk

a leaf that appears too real

to be a shadow

yet it is…

The golden Moon glowing

through the skeleton of

a lone leaf creates a

beautiful reflection of

life…

love..

hopes…

and

dreams…

The lacy remains of

a life…

a love…

my soul…

as I stand there under

a full Autumn Moon

reflecting on what was…

what was not…

and

what never will be…

Like the missing

pieces of myself

the Moon Lace

represents what

is left of me …

Tonight…

Smiling down on me

mist

Hanging low cuddled

in the western sky

is the ever-growing

Moon

 

A cool October

night giving the

true feeling of

fall in the air

 

Changes…

 

New things showing

Moon Power

Tonight as the heat

of the day cools and

the south breeze brings

welcomed relief to

the night air

I felt a slight

shift…

a tiny realignment…

a relief…

 

Cosmic forces are still

strong and all indications

point to a continuation

until the new year…

the turning of the wheel

 

The Blue Moon is still

two days away

Yet…

the magic of that rare

event is beginning…

The shifting of the

Universe is like that

cooling of the nigh air

A positive relief as

things begin to realign…

shift…

define…

And…

retune…

the Cosmos …

Strawberry Moon

There it is …

playing hide and seek

with me through

the trees

 

Just above the

South East horizon

on its way through

the Heavens

it is just beginning

the Celestial equivalent

of a runway-walk

 

Beautiful…

Full…

and yes…

Strawberry in

appearance

 

It has haunted

me all week as it

grew to full

Now that it is

here…

I will feel it for

a few more days

 

You see…

I am totally connected

to the Moon in all her

different presentations

and my life…

my heart…

and

my soul…

are driven by its

PULL…

Super Moons

This year has been

the year of several

Super Moons

 

Each special…

Unique…

with their own

set of special powers…

good for some…

bad for others…

 

Each may have

caused unreal

reactions for highly

sensitive people

 

Some were energized

Some felt slightly ‘off’

Some were drained

of energy and needed

to repeatedly recharge

Some…

All of these

 

We are of the heavens

Star people

Influenced to the

whims of our Moon

 

Believe in the lore

Or not…

We are tied to

the Moon…

May Night

The almost full

Moon flirts with

the little dipper

as Orion stands

guard in the

low Western sky

 

This week the night

sky will be a

constantly changing

show of stars and planets

 

Walking outside barefoot

in the night cooled

grass and Moon bathe

to reconnect with

Mother Earth and

become whole

Moon Magic

Last night the Moon

was magic hanging

in the Western sky

like an upturned

bowl catching stars

Venus and Mars were

putting on their show

to the left

 

Breathtaking in its

Beauty…

Leaving me speechless

as I could not take

my eyes off the sky

 

Jupiter in the Eastern

sky jealous of the Moon

but beautiful in its

own brilliance

 

Tonight the Moon is

just as beautiful

But…

The juxtaposition

of it with the planets

is not the same and

the magic is not

there from last night

 

As I get older the night

sky holds mystery and

awe for me — the mystery

of our Universe and the

ever-changing panorama

of the night sky

Moon Glow/Star Shine

The predawn air was crisp

not cold

shirt sleeve weather my

Dad always called it

But…

for February it was

unusual

 

The sky is deep blue

velvet with a half

Moon and Stars for

Miles…

 

Taking time after my

morning chores to

bask in the Moon glow

and Star shine

I breathe a sigh

and suddenly the

world rights itself again

and my heart and soul

feel the release of a

New Day…
