And so it begins
The first day of a
new year
The first day we
either face HOPE
or FEAR
No one knows
which the new year
will bring …
We have to roll
with the punches
and …
if at all possible
turn any FEAR
into our own
HOPE
and go on from there

Thank goodness
The past year was one
of the most difficult
of my life
Not one thing in
particular…
But …
Many things in
general
Adding up
Bedeviling me
Causing pain…
heartache…
loss…
The coming year
has to be better
because it
cannot be any worse …

On this last Tuesday
night of the year
I reflect…
Much to be thankful
for this year
And…ith a new year
Much I regret
Things unsaid
Things undone
Not enough
“I LOVE YOUs”
With new year
around the corner
comes a chance to
right wrongs and
have a do-over or two
Time for a leap of faith
Putting myself
out there…
on the line…
To either get what
I need
OR…
Be devastated
Yet again…
