Games…
For days on end I am invisible… non-existant… ignored... Yet... The minute something is wanted… is needed… I suddenly am visible again So tired of Players And Their Games...

After all these years
I should have learned
to NOT fall
for promises made
Players only love you
when they are in the
heat of the chase
Once caught…
then promises made
are broken…
lies…
cover-ups…
pain…
Signs of them…
Begin…
You…
making new promises
while starting the chase
of a new
Conquest

You wooed me with
Words of Love
Praises and Promises
Caught me
And
I lost my heart…
My soul…
Given freely in answer
to you Courtship
Now…promises broken
Words of anger and blame
Trapped by what I thought was real
I know now it was
All a game for you
One you played again and again
Moving from heart to broken heart
Like a hummingbird flitting in a field of flowers
Everything changed…
Yet, I did nothing different…
Nothing wrong…
I gave freely
Only to be ignored…
Abandoned…
Blamed for things
I did not say or do
All part of your game…
Build someone up…
Only…
To deliberately tear them apart
And feed your sadistic Ego.
Stronger than you thought…
I survived your game
Now, the played is
The Survivor…
The Winner…
Observing you from the side
You continue to leave
A string of destruction in
Your wake
Victim after victim
Hopefully they will
Learn
