A warm spring day

Road trip to anywhere

My legs propped in the

open car window catching

the sun’s warmth and the

gentle breeze flowing

over them …

 

After a crazy winter of

broken hearts…

shatter dreams…

And …

lost souls…

Finally Peace is

beginning to settle in …

The wheel turns again

Thank goodness

The past year was one

of the most difficult

of my life

Not one thing in

particular…

But …

Many things in

general

Adding up

Bedeviling me

Causing pain…

heartache…

loss…

The coming year

has to be better

because it

cannot be any worse …

Renewal

Day by day

I realize it no

longer matters

And…

I care less and less

as time goes by

 

Amazing…

When eyes are opened

How the heart releases

And…

What once was important

no longer matters

 

Each day…

I am personally

Stronger…

Happier…

Renewed…

The smell of rain

That scent of freshness

filling the air

as the world weeps

brings back memories

 

Good…

 

Bad…

 

But either way

a sense

of renewal…

of new beginnings…

of starting over…

 

Fresh…

Clean…

Morning Dew

Autumn…

Time of renewal

Refreshing…

 

Leaves on fire

paint the world

in colors rarely seen

except in nature

 

Morning dew

washes away 

the Night…

 

Cool breezes

kiss the dawn

and waken a 

new day…

Rejoice

The day began with

promise or perhaps

a warning

 

A rainbow woven

through dark grey

storm clouds 

sitting in the 

South West

 

Unusual…

Beautiful…

Ominous…

 

The day goes on…

No storms…

Clouds come and

go bringing the

taste of Summer

sunshine until…

 

Late in the day

at long last the

storm built

growing in strength

until…

darkness descended

in the middle of the

afternoon

 

Rain falls…

Lightning and Thunder

with a sprinkle of

tiny hail

 

Refreshing the air…

Renewing the day…

Bringing cooling rain…

The taste of sunshine

exchanged for a

coolness…

A respite from 

the heat 

The Earth Rejoicing…

You always sense

my emptiness

the darkness that

engulfs my soul

 

Uncertainty…

And, yes…

Insecurity…

Never sure if my

pain is my 

pleasure or the

other way round

 

You feed me…

fill the emptiness…

with yourself —

with your strength —

with your soul —

 

Giving me renewal

new life…

new spirit…

and infusion of

YOU…

to ge me through 

the dark times

Earth

Gentle Spring breezes

teasing leaves and my

hair as I soak up 

the warm Sun

 

New beginnings

Brighter days

as more flowers bloom

 

In the distance…

Wind Turbines

move slowly

their three arms 

Swish…Swish…Swish

giving back to the 

Earth every day

The time the

Universe unwinds…

Sitting back to

with feet up…

to rest…

and restore for

the coming day

Dusk gives u

Twilight…

Unexpected sunsets

that take our

Breath away

Melting into full

Dark…

The Moon rides

high in the evening

sky…overseeing the

Universal orchestra of

the Stars

Slowly turning…

Unwinding…

Until that first

blush of a new

day kisses the

Eastern Sky

Renewal…

Recharged…

The Universe rests

between dusk and dawn
