An open window

Lacy curtains gently

blowing in the breeze

 

She turns

Remembering…

That day long ago

 

When…

 

On an afternoon

just like this 

She first gave 

her heart away

 

That was long ago

All she has left

are Memories

 

And…

 

She smiles…

Night Fall

Evening calling 

Nature settling in

before twilight

 

Birds sounding  their

good nights

Crickets chirping their

gossip to one another

Cicadas sawing out

their evening song

 

Light breezes and the

wind whispers a coming

of Autumn

Cooler air…

Refreshing after a

day of high heat

 

The Universe smiles

As everything is as it

Should be…

And…

Will be…
