Annie's Muse
Poetry
Diamonds, Raindrops, Storms
Diamonds…
An outbreak of
Spring Storms
again overnight
has wrecked havoc
on everything
A tiny twinkle
of hope this
morning after
the latest deluge
Raindrops…
clinging like diamonds
from each teardrop
leaf of the
Mesquite trees…

Annie's Muse
Poetry
Rain, Rainbow, Refresh, Rejoice, Renewal, Storms, Warning

Source: We Heart It
Rejoice
The day began with
promise or perhaps
a warning
A rainbow woven
through dark grey
storm clouds
sitting in the
South West
Unusual…
Beautiful…
Ominous…
The day goes on…
No storms…
Clouds come and
go bringing the
taste of Summer
sunshine until…
Late in the day
at long last the
storm built
growing in strength
until…
darkness descended
in the middle of the
afternoon
Rain falls…
Lightning and Thunder
with a sprinkle of
tiny hail
Refreshing the air…
Renewing the day…
Bringing cooling rain…
The taste of sunshine
exchanged for a
coolness…
A respite from
the heat
The Earth Rejoicing…
