Clarity

Most of us go through life

thinking everything we

hear and see is the truth

that people are basic

good and never something

other than they seem

 

When that view of someone

suddenly…

unexpectedly…

we are not only surprised

to be blinded sided

But…

we are deeply hurt

Then…

Angered to the depths

of our soul …

Heartbroken to the point

there can never be

Trust in that person

 

When time and events

are reviewed we realize

the clues were there

day by day,

week by week,

And…

month by month

Which gives that

release of hurt and

pain and produces

the final moment of

CLARITY…

 

 

My Wish …

I wish I could turn back time…

reset to that summer day we first me…

restart our lives from that point

And…

get to know you…

love you…

all over again

Have a do-over during the rough spots

and be more understanding when I

need to be as when you need to be

with me as well

Make our time be more specific…

more purposeful…

stronger —

together and alone

But…

Time marches on

Things change

We still love one another

But…

That love will never again

be like that first magical

summer when our love

was young…

new..

magic…

And…

so were we …

Missing Pieces

Never underestimate me or

my ability to find out things

Things that have been hidden deeply

Things that are important

Things that matter in the grand

scheme of  life

Things that bring the

pieces together

Fill in the unanswered

Open up mysteries

Begin to fill in the puzzle

that will help understand

the past…

the pain…
