I Wait…

And…

I wait

Yet again

for the call that

never comes

 

And…

I wait

because that

is expected

of me

 

And…

I wait

knowing what

I hope for

will never

happen

 

And…

I wait

Because there

is nothing

else I can do

 

So…

 

I WAIT…

Yearning

Always waking from a dream

I just cannot remember

But…

There is something in

that dream that haunts me

A strange yearning…

Something I can’t put

my finger on…but,

Something I miss…

Something I want…

Or

Something I need…

Just out of my memory

grasp residing in the

over world of my dream…

waiting for the right time

to show itself and

I will want no more
