I believed you ~

When you courted me

With words of love and passion

I believed you ~

When you said no strings attached

Only a mature…

friendship…

relationship…

sharing…

I believed you~

When you said there was no one else

No one you thought of but me

I believed you~

When you encouraged me

Tempted me with your words and dreams

I believed you ~

When you said the issues were not

about me, but yours alone

I believed you ~

In all things…

Your promises … were lies

Your words … were deceptions

Your actions … were false

I believed you~

When you said you

Cared too much

I believed you~

AND

That is where

I went WRONG
