Going Green…
I am a long time
newspaper reader
Savoring it over
morning coffee …
Or … winding up the day
depending on delivery time
My guilty Sunday
pleasure was breakfast
in bed with the
Dallas Morning News
a newspaper with so
much to read that
it could be savored
all day long
I still read the news
daily … yet …
miss that feel of
paper between my
fingers … the black
stain of newsprint
on my hands transferred
as I read like news was
transferred to my brain
These days my daily
news is delivers via
email, social media
or online news outlets
But …
Going green leaves
me missing the
good old days of
hiding behind the
pages of a favorite
newspaper …

Yes … my kindle is loaded … but I still miss the feel … the smell of a book in my hands …
