You captured my heart again Annie! The essence of love poured out to the child across the road through a special neighbor grandpa… My heart swells!! Great imagery and emotion! {<3}

He was a wonderful man … he only owned one car in his life … a 1940 Chevy Deluxe. When he no longer could drive he wanted to give it to me…my Dad said No, but I could buy it … my first car purchase … $35 & named it Scotty after my neighbor!

Yes they do … so many memories of this wonderful man are returning this week … perhaps because my office is the one of 4 efficiency apartments that sits exactly where his kitchen and living room originally were when I was a child.
