His Heart
She won his
heart the first
time he saw her
She was the
most beautiful
girl in the
World
An unbelievable
combination of
DNA that never
ceased to
amaze him
She had him
wrapped around
her heart
from the beginning
Total…
Unconditional…
Love…
A love that grew
stronger every day
A love that melted
his heart every time
she looked at him
and Smiled
She was his
and..
he was hers…
Looking at her now
in all her glory…
grown up…
a lady…
sophisticated…
intelligent…
about to start a
new life of her own
He was giving her
to another man today
But…
She would always
be his Baby
And…
He would always be
her first love…
her lasting love…

Your eyes catch

room

I smile
Your casual
touch on my arm

attention

traveling through

head in my door
just to say
“Hi!”

my heart
Races
You get home
before I do

I find a
trail of candles
and roses leading
me to a hot bath
You cradle me
in your arms

Gently wash my
hair massaging
away the day
You made me
dinner
Served it in bed
Strawberries…
Champagne…
